Ok, I know Ive been saying this for a few weeks, but it needs to be said. I know Ive said it before, but I will say it again. I feel this stuff is getting too strong for its own good. It reminds me of some of the old times where you could make your own beer that was too strong. I just feel like I am making beer that is too strong for my taste.
Like many other aspects of the game, Deathloop’s combat is handled in a way that feels extremely unforgiving. That’s not just because of its combat system, but because it’s a game about a time-bending force trying to get through the game. Some of these powers and abilities feel unnecessarily punishing when compared to any other action in the game. For example, the ability to shoot a gun in the air and then shoot anything in front of you.
I don’t like seeing that kind of over-the-top power. Also, its so over-the-top, I don’t know if I can bear to play through it. I feel like the game has too many guns, and the fact that the game is so brutal, it makes the game feel a bit too heavy. So I’m gonna give this one a miss.
