I am not a fan of vegetarians. I find them to be vegetarians without the benefits of the word. What I would say is that a vegetarian diet provides more protein than a meat-eating diet, and you are missing out on a lot of nutrients. I think that my main beef with vegetarians (and I know I have a lot of it) is that they seem to be eating their way through the world.
I agree. Vegetarians are probably the worst of the bunch, not just in terms of getting more bang for your buck, but in having a much less healthy diet. Although, as we all know, protein can be a tricky thing to get from a vegetarian diet, so I don’t really think you’ll be getting the most bang for your buck.
I think anyone who wants to be a vegan or vegetarian needs to take a look at what they eat. Especially if you dont have kids. There’s a lot of good info on the internet if you want to find out what to eat and what to avoid. And if you want to get off the meat and dairy-heavy diet you’ll probably need to become a better cook.
The problem is that when you go on a diet of protein, carbs, and veggies you really are depriving yourself. Because you are not eating your body’s protein and carbs, your body will be deprived of all the essential amino acids. I believe it’s said that a diet that is 100% protein will give your liver more of a chance to start making good proteins. I’ve heard it said that you can lose up to 15 pounds or more on a diet of meat and water.
Although you can lose 15 pounds or more on a meat and water diet, that doesn’t mean you will. This is because you will be starving your body. That is because protein is not a complete protein.
